Hostaway is a SaaS startup that is transforming the vacation rental industry. With innovative solutions and partnerships with giants like Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking, we're taking on the competition and winning. Leveraging our customer-centric core values, we consistently deliver results that encourage growth, learning, and innovation for our team, our customers, and the industry.
As a profitable and growing company, this role is necessitated by our continued growth. Check out more about our recent funding round of $365 million here.
About the role
As an Account Manager at Hostaway, you will own the post-sale commercial relationship with assigned customers, focusing on driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR) through add-on adoption, upsells, and renewals.
You will proactively engage with accounts to uncover opportunities, increase product adoption, and ensure long-term customer value.
This role demands high-volume outreach, disciplined pipeline management, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales.
You will be the primary commercial contact for your accounts—building strong executive and operational relationships, understanding each customer’s business objectives, and aligning Hostaway’s solutions to those goals. Success will be measured by your ability to consistently hit or exceed ARR growth targets and maintain excellent account health.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of existing U.S. & Canadian customers to drive adoption, expansion, and retention.
80–100 targeted outbound calls/day to assigned accounts, prioritizing based on segmentation criteria.
Lead structured add-on campaigns for Dynamic Pricing, Smart Locks, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Insurance.
Follow up on marketing leads and self-service activations to convert into ARR.
Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of add-ons.
Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline hygiene with clear next steps, close dates, and deal values.
Overcome objections with value-based selling and competitive positioning.
Ensure contracts and addenda for upsells are executed in compliance with company policies.
Job requirements
2+ years in SaaS account management, inside sales, or customer success with a revenue target.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding ARR or quota targets.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with strong objection handling.
Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) proficiency.
Comfort with high-volume outbound calling.
Understanding of SaaS contracts and co-terming best practices is a plus
