About the role
Hostaway Communications is engineered for property managers who can’t afford missed messages, slow responses, or operational bottlenecks. Our platform is built to handle high volumes with reliability built-in from the ground up. Helping our property managers automate routine communications with guests and staff, reduce manual workload, and ensure every interaction is tracked and delivered, even during peak demand. By connecting the right people with the right information at the right time, Hostaway empowers teams to deliver seamless guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and unlocking new opportunities for growth.
As a Senior Product Manager, Communications, you will drive the evolution of a system designed for scale and precision, you will expand AI-powered intelligent automation and analytics capabilities that quietly drive efficiency—helping customers control costs, minimize errors, and deliver consistently fast, high-quality guest experiences. You will understand the exact needs and communication pain points of our customers and are able to work with design, engineering and your peers on building intuitive solutions that solve real user problems.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to ensure every release delivers tangible improvements in speed, accuracy, and operational clarity. Your decisions will be grounded in real customer workflows and data, always with an eye toward measurable impact.
What you will do:
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI-powered communication experiences — from strategy and roadmap to execution and iteration.
Help develop and implement the Hostaway Communications vision, strategy, and roadmap, breaking that down into rapidly shippable projects, consistent with the company vision.
Closely work with our design function to iterate on prototypes, ideas and suggestions and evolve them into fully functional and shipped user features.
Prioritise ruthlessly and use data, intuition, and storytelling to align stakeholders and move quickly.
Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule together with the engineering management team
Define and analyse the metrics that determine success, with the ability to understand what activation, adoption and churn risks look like across the entirety of the communication features portfolio..
Stay current on trends in AI, messaging, automation, and hospitality tech — and bring creative ideas into the product.
Be a key voice in the company for what “excellent” looks like in modern communication.
Job requirements
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B/B2C SaaS.
Experience with AI/ML concepts and integrating automation into core workflows.
Strong analytical skills and a focus on business outcomes.
Deep empathy for users, you think in flows, friction points, and moments of delight.
Able to make decisions when surrounded by uncertainty. You don’t require a support system to maintain momentum.
Able to lead by influencing without authority, aligning cross-functional teams around clear goals and driving outcomes through trust, clarity, and data-informed decision.
Deep understanding of customer operations and the pressures of margin-sensitive industries.
